Homebuilders gathering at Chilhowie, Sat. Sept 15

Dear Friends,

As Stan mentioned in our news letter. Julie and I would like to host a picnic get together on top of Chilhowee Mountain.

For those of you who have never been there. You take Hwy. 64 out past the first swim area on Parksville Lake. Just past the Ranger station on the left is the road that takes you up the mountain. It's a 7 mile drive with beautiful views along the way.

The elevation at the top is 2000 feet, so it's usually 5-10 degrees cooler.
There is a $3.00 parking fee.

There is about a 10 acre lake there with a nice sandy beach and swim area. They have a nice bath house with showers. The picnic site that we would like to get over looks the beach. There is an easy hiking trail of about 1.5 miles that leads to a waterfall if you would like to get some exercise.

We will provide the Hot Dogs and fix-ins. We would ask you to bring what you would like to drink and a side to share.

We are trying to pick a date that will provide the biggest turn out. So please let us know if you can make it on the Saturday after Labor Day weekend. September 8 or 15 weather permitting of coarse.

Would you let us know at 473-4693 or djkz86@yahoo.com

God Bless You,

Dave & Julie

The Most Happiest Time... of the year!

As the Staples ad says, it is THAT time of year!!! The kids are back at school, Sunday School is in full swing, and Wednesday night WOW is about to start up. Homebuilders has a new home too - in the old Cornerstone room - top of the stairs just inside the office entrance, first room on the left. This double room should give us plenty of room to grow, as we welcome so many new members. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, while relocating is not an easy thing for anybody, this move will allow us to welcome other folks who, like us, want the fellowship and study that this class provides.
Welcome Back!
