· Edith (Stan's mom) - knee surgery
· Tim - passed away suddenly; mourned by many students & co-workers as well as family

OTHER NOTES OF INTEREST
· We voted on a class picnic on May 16 at Chillhowie park. We'll begin eating at 1:30. More details to follow. Rain date, May 23.
· In about three weeks, we will begin a lesson from the book, "Experiencing the Word in Your Life" (Thomas Nelson publishers, 1994). A sign-up sheet was circulated for those who are willing to teach certain chapters from the book; slots are still available.
· The balance in our checking account is too low to use class funds for our "Experiencing the Word" book, so each family will need to buy their own. We'll be checking with some book stores to see if they can made a good deal for us.
