Hey, it's Duane. I would like to get more comments, suggestions, and concerns about the whole service project/mission/financial goals thing from you. Jenn has graciously opened up the blog so that we have the ability to post anonymously. However, it leaves us open to spammers. So we are putting a deadline for anonymous posting of Monday 9-15. I desperately need your feedback for two reasons; 1. I know that I am not objective in this matter. 2. We ran out of time last Sunday. Please post your comments anonymously. I just sent an all points bulletin for help on the pancake breakfast. Message follows:
As a result of to much to do and not enough time to do it, we are now facing a crisis for the later portion of the pancake breakfast.
The core team minus Mike Massey will get things started as usual but at about 9:30, Duane, Stan, and I will need to leave for the boy scout river race. We need help with finishing up the breakfast and cleaning. I know this is short notice, but any help you can provide at 9:30 AM and beyond will be significant.
Unfortunately, Gina will be watching two soccer games simultaneously (Charles and Sarah) at 9:00 AM and will not be able to help. Talk about stereo optical sporting event viewing. Can’t get this on pay per view.
